This 244 has been worked over a number of years with attention to: engine, ignition & fuel components, computer, gearbox, clutch, suspension and driver training.
To enhance the car, genuine Volvo turbo parts, or better, have been sourced worldwide to build-up a unique marriage of B21 & B230 ET/FT components.

The 240 Turbo model was sold in Europe & USA, but not in Australia being a right-hand-drive country, hence a unique challenge. Thankfully 760/740/940 Turbo models were sold in good numbers in Australia and they use much the same engine fittment configuration, so parts are readily obtainable.

Ignition System:

CDI Ignition - View pic of M&W PRO 10 - Haltech processes 2x hall sensor trigger signals, and outputs to CDI. Single coil (Bosch MEC 717) acts as stepup transformer and supplies Ignition distributor. Rotor button is modified to solid rather than resistor type. Custom Magnecor leads (KV85). Spark plugs (NGK BP8ES).
Ignition distributor is large Mitsubishi Magna dual Hall effect.

Alternator - 45A Daihatsu Charade NipponDenso - many kg lighter than Bosch

Injectors:
